20 December 2006

For those of you in other climes, we had a nice little earthquake tonight. It kind of rolled by, wobbling the windows down the building and around the corner.

It was definitely an earthquake. We didn't break any china.

I am out of private time and am suspended by grace. Therefore, please keep shopping.

The cats are still under the bed.

It felt over here like a truck had hit the house. Maybe a UPS truck, maybe FedEx.

wait, in the bay area? because i was at the laundrymat last night and it felt like someone had lifted my chair and pushed me forward. i wasn't sure what it was because it was so quick. i had thought that maybe i'd had the back of the chair up against a washer. maybe not? it was kind of fun.

btw, heard you were at THE NEW YIPES last sunday. i was there too. too bad i didn't get to say hulloo.

laundromats (as discoteques) can be difficult places to decipher earthquakes.

i heard latterly too that you were there. we are destined to say hello in 07; i can feel it. if not at yipes than elsewhere. (by the way, eyeball the sidebar; i think you will have to return to the eastbay at some point. it's looking good. i'm an amateur. i've been bluffing this reading-series stuff. yet it's looking good.)
